WELCOME TO ATLANTA CHINATOWN

The Chinatown of the South since 1988

ABOUT ATLANTA CHINATOWN

Nestled off in it’s own complex just off Buford Highway, Atlanta Chinatown, founded in 1988, has served as a meeting place and cultural hub for the Chinese community and beyond across multiple generations and cultures. At Chinatown you can find a special array of offerings from a bookstore, art gallery, supermarket and of course, the food court - all serving goods and experiences true to Chinese heritage, culture and history in Atlanta, Georgia.

In 2026, we are venturing on a new quest to uplift and renovate Atlanta Chinatown, bringing our gem into a contemporary time through community organizations, arts and programs led by our new Art Director Andrew Blooms.

Beginning February 2026 with our Chinese New Year Celebration, we will be offering a monthly makers market, Atlanta Chinatown Market, featuring live music, arts, crafts and foods offered by the very best of Atlanta. We invite you all to come and enjoy our new Atlanta Chinatown.
